Philip is a Founding Partner of The Silk Road Partnership, operating in Europe, The Gulf, India, SE Asia and Greater China. He has been working in the coaching and mentoring arena for 23 years, is a leading exponent in his field and was fortunate to have been trained by one of the pre-eminent Inner Game coaches. He has particular expertise working in the international financial and professional services fields, especially the law.

Philip has helped create, build and co-owned a number of coaching, board mentoring and training businesses, including subsidiaries of Baines Gwinner and (after acquisition) Whitehead Mann. A richly varied set of life experiences includes leadership roles in military, political, educational and charitable spheres.

He is a Founding Fellow of the Institute of Coaching Professional Association (a Harvard Medical School affiliate), a Member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) and the International Association of Coaching (IAC), serving on its Professional Development & Research Committee.
