Astrid is Director of Corporate marketing Europe for Milliman, a leading actuarial consulting firm. She has more than 20 years of experience in consulting and operational roles. She started her career in France managing international sales and customer relations in banking. She then joined a major industrial group where she was in charge of European and Government Affairs.
After graduating with a MBA from the HEC School of Management in 2001, she helped a leading IT consultancy negotiate acquisitions in Germany and also worked in HR consulting focusing on cross-border assignments for multinational clients. Before joining Milliman, Astrid managed client relations in the French office of a magic circle law firm and advised fee earners and a partners across the marketing and business development remit.
Astrid is a citizen of Germany and fully trilingual in German, French and English. In addition to her professional activities, she is a mentor to HEC students and a member of the EPWN (European Professional Women’s Network).

Philip Beddows
Hannen Beith is Company Secretary and Administrator to The Institute of Mentoring. Prior to his current role, Hannen was an Adjudicator at the Law Society for 11 years, a Deputy District Judge and a managing partner of his own law firm in the UK. Hannen was originally admitted as a Solicitor in 1980, having been awarded a scholarship by the Law Society and began his legal career in-house in the public sector.
